NHS Targets Revealed In Poster Campaign
Health Minister Edwina Hart, who announced the move yesterday, said she wants the Welsh public to understand what is being done to improve access to healthcare and services.
This will be the first time that such information has been on public display.
The Welsh Assembly Government sets the NHS a series of priorities and targets every year.
The movie posters will outline the targets for 15 “priority areas”, including access to cardiac, cancer, stroke care and mental health services, targets for waiting times, accident and emergency and ambulance services and work to reduce delayed transfers of care and healthcare associated infections.
Some 10,000 bilingual posters will be sent to local health boards and councils next week.
