Students Recognized For Poster Designs
Susan Brigman, assistant principal at Richmond Senior High School, serves as a member on the Crime Stoppers board. She worked with Crime Stoppers Chairman Richard Deese, to set deadlines and requirements for the contest.
Students were asked to design movie posters to advertise the hotline number that students need to call if they see a crime being committed on a school campus or anywhere in the community.
The board met on April 8, to judge the posters.
Bree Baldwin of Richmond Senior High School was awarded first place. She received a cash prize in the amount of $75.
Bree's poster will be replicated, and copies will be placed in locations on the senior high school campus, as well as the campuses of junior high schools.
Mykira Ward of Ellerbe Jr. High was awarded second place and received a cash prize in the amount of $50.
Myranda-Lynn Johnson of Rohanen Junior High was awarded third place receiving a cash prize in the amount of $25.
