Sweet Pea Poster Contest Begins

Sweet Pea Festival is now accepting entries for its annual poster contest, and organizers are encouraging people of all ages and levels of expertise to enter.

The winning design will be used on promotional movie posters for the festival, scheduled to run Aug. 6-8. The winner will also win $1,000, according to a press release from festival organizers.

The deadline for entries is April 30.

The festival is also holding its second annual T-shirt art contest. There are two categories: Category 1 for artists ages 5 through 13 and Category 2 for artists ages 14 and older. Winning designs from each category will be used on this year�s Sweet Pea Festival T-shirts. Deadline for entries is April 9.

The Sweet Pea Festival is a three-day festival of the arts held in Bozeman since 1978.

The festival includes a ball, juried and open art shows, the Bite of Bozeman, a parade, and activities and events in Lindley Park: music, children�s activities, dance, arts and crafts, food concessions and more.
