WHS Snowboard Team Now Selling Posters
To raise money for transportation and other costs associated with taking the entire team to Mt. Hood, the team is selling Team Riders posters.
"We are a new and small team and have had a few small fundraisers to help get us through the season," said parent Tammy Simpson. "However, we have not raised enough to pay for this event or the coaching needed. This is why we are asking for your support by purchasing a business card advertisement on our team poster."
The movie posters will be shared throughout the community, and any contributions or advertising are tax-deductible.
"This is a great way to show your support for your local snowboard team, advertise your business, and have a write-off for your 2010 taxes," Simpson said. "As one of our sponsors, we will personally let you know how we do at state."
