The billboard will be posted for two weeks and aims to build on the launch of the product back in March this year. The aim is to demonstrate to young women that the trainers can help tone their muscles. Though the poster is located in London, the impact of the campaign will be felt nationally through PR activity.
Brands looking to cause the same stir can find printing companies in Potters Bar or other areas around London to provide them with a one off poster print run. Using traffic stopping creative executions on movie posters is nothing new with the likes of Pretty Polly and Wonder Bra using the outdoor poster medium to great effect in the past but the story will always make the headlines and means that the posters have a far wide reaching impact on consumers than just those lucky commuters who pass the poster every day on their way to or from work.
