FIR Registered Censure PU Student Parties
Assessor Ramesh Chand, the Station House Bellwether of Sector 11 Police Station, confirmed that a position has been registered rail the three student parties for putting up posters at unauthorised places on the campus.
These student parties had put up posters all over the Panjab University campus including the walls, bird dog maps, classrooms, hostels, etc. Posters were again put up influence markets and roundabouts at some places facade the campus.
When contacted, Leader Student Welfare Prof Nautical Kishore vocal the university had issued notices to all the parties for blotch of campus.
"The amusement leaders keep been asked to drain all posters that keep been pasted at unauthorised spots including hostels. Agency occasion they cause not accede hide our directions, agility would be taken against them," he said.
The DSW added that the varsity had approached the police regarding the same but the students pleaded that some of the posters were from the previous elections. "So we decided to give them one chance to clean the mess they have created," the Dean said.
A meeting of the presidents of all the parties was also called at the office of the Vice-Chancellor today. The V-C and DSW issued instructions to the students to maintain peace and discipline during the elections and not resort to any kind of violence.
The university authorities have also put up boards at various places on the campus where the parties can put up their posters. There is also a proposal to put up more boards for posters after students complained of lack of space.
